General Director Toverland chooses new role
After being the General Director of Theme park Toverland for 20 years, Caroline Kortooms has decided to further specialise her passions within Toverland. From now on she continues her career as Leader Vision and Company Culture. General management is continued by Jean Gelissen jr. and Jean Gelissen sr. of parent company Gelissen Group.
Toverland has been led by Caroline Kortooms since the day it opened, and grew under her management into a leading theme park that stands out by its themed areas and attractions offer. Toverland also developed its own vision with regards to leadership and company culture. “These are exactly the subjects that make my heart beat faster”, says Caroline. “That’s why I’m really looking forward to my new role as Leader Vision and Company Culture.”
It has also been a long cherished wish for Caroline to inspire organisations outside Toverland to work from the personal ‘magic’ of their staff. “Now I can completely focus on this.”
Ideal combination
Caroline has made this decision after discussions with her brother Jean Gelisen sr. and her nephew Jean Gelissen jr. An ideal combination for Toverland from an organisational perspective. The business economical talents of Jean sr. and Jean jr. and people-oriented passion of Caroline ensure an even more solid basis from which Toverland can continue to grow as a family business.
Toverland’s team of directors consists, besides Jean Gelissen jr. and Jean Gelissen sr., also of Paul Oomen (Technical Director) and Carin van Berkel (Commercial Director).
