Official start of construction Toverland's largest expansion ever

Next year will be the opening of Theme park Toverland's new entrance and new theme area. And this week saw the official start of the construction. A milestone that is celebrated with the launch of the new website 2018.toverland.com. Those who are interested can follow the latest news about this expansion.

Over the past few months, the necessary permits were granted and the construction site has been prepared. “Let the construction begin”, says technical manager Paul Oomen. “At this moment you can see the outlines of the buildings by looking at the boundary markers.” Our new areas will be open to the public in the summer of 2018.

“This is our largest expansion yet”, says Oomen. “We can imagine that people are very curious after our plans, so that's why we have developed a special website.” On that website, named 2018.toverland.com, we offer people a preview for next year, with images, video clips, sound clips and storytelling. The visitor must register first in order to gain access to the exclusive information on this website.

Theme park Toverland is becoming one-and-a-half times bigger in 2018. Across a surface of seven hectares, we will build a new entrance and a new theme area. The centre point of that new theme area will be two large attractions: a sensational Wing Coaster and a magical boatride. We will reveal more details of our new theme area later this month. An investment of 30 million euros is needed to realise this expansion.
